History

“KIVOS TECHNICAL S.A.” was founded in 2006 under the initial name “Siamkas & Co. G.P.”, and in 2016 it was transformed into a Société Anonyme (S.A.). For several years, it has been active in the sector of technical companies, focusing on public and private projects, primarily engaged in the construction of medium and low voltage electricity transmission works. The company holds a Contractor’s Certificate (MEEP No. 25964) in the categories of Electromechanical and Energy Projects.

The company possesses expertise and many years of experience in the field of electromechanical projects, particularly in the construction of HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator) networks, telecommunications networks, and fiber optic networks, in the design and construction of interconnection networks for RES (Renewable Energy Sources) plants with HEDNO, as well as in the detection of faults in underground networks.

The company is staffed with experienced engineers, highly trained technicians, and scientific personnel, holding extensive know-how and long-standing experience in the energy sector.

For project construction, the workforce includes 11 engineers, mainly Mechanical-Electrical engineers, 80 permanent technical workers specialized in HEDNO construction projects, and 7 administrative employees.

Equipment

The construction works are carried out with modern proprietary mechanical equipment, which includes crane trucks adapted for the construction of medium and low voltage overhead networks, tipper and non-tipper trucks, excavators, loaders, site equipment units, etc.

In addition, the company owns a fully equipped special vehicle for cable fault detection and cable testing. The vehicle is fitted with the latest technological innovations for fast and efficient cable inspection, testing, and fault detection, as well as for conducting network quality measurements.

The company’s headquarters are located in the city of Serres. It also maintains permanent construction sites in Serres, Drama, Kavala, Thessaloniki, and Veria.

The company’s overall operational framework is evaluated through a Quality Management System certified according to ISO 9001:2015, in order to ensure an excellent quality outcome in all its activities. The company also holds ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management.
